Pedralba is a pretty little Spanish village with inhabitants of about 2200. The main activity of the area is orange growing, there are mile after mile of orange groves. The house is situated in the heart of the orange groves, they are literally outside the front gates and about half a mile from the village. The other crops grown in the area are olives, nuts and carobs. There is an olive press in the village.

There are shops, bars and restaurants in the village and also a modern petrol station. The nearest supermarket is in Lliria, about 20 mins. drive away. The nearest hypermarket is Carrefour in Elliana and it is about 25 mins. drive away. There is also a brand new shopping centre next to the Carrefour car park. The airport is 30 mins drive, Valencia City is 30 mins drive and beautiful sandy beaches are just 40 mins drive away. There is a good bus service in Pedralba, and the Metro railway in Lliria is just 20 mins. away. Bonaire is a very modern shopping centre about 30 mins drive away with designer shops and factory outlets and is one of the biggest in Spain.
